The 2021 Creative Residents
Welcome to Our Creative Residents
We are thrilled to be able to welcome our newest class of Creative Residents to Bloedel Reserve. You will recognize some names as artists whose 2020 residencies were cut short by COVID closures and restrictions. Others are new to the Creative Residency program.
We can’t wait to meet all of the Residents and share with you the work they will be pursuing while they are onsite. In the meantime, you can read more about this year’s Creative Residents and see examples of their work by using the links below. You can also read more about the Creative Residency program here.
Field Notes 2021
So what exactly do Creative Residents do while they are staying at Bloedel Reserve? For some, it is an intensely private time of rest and reflection, a chance to recharge their creative juices. And for others, it’s a chance to experiment, play, begin new projects or continue developing works already in progress.
Field Notes lets you explore Bloedel Reserve through the art, writings, and unique perspectives of those Creative Residents who have chosen to share the insights and inspirations they experienced while staying onsite. Click the clicks below to read more about their Bloedel Reserve experiences.
