On Saturdays, hop on at 10 AM, Noon or 2 PM and ride to Bloedel Reserve. Please note that the bus will stop at Coppertop Park after Winslow Way and may pick up or drop off other passengers on the way to the Reserve.

State Route 305 Safety Improvements

Project overview: WSDOT is building two modern roundabouts on Bainbridge Island in 2024 at the intersections of SR 305 and Northeast West Port Madison and SR 305 and Northeast Adas Will Lane. The improvements include a feature at the intersection of Agatewood Road Northeast (Bloedel Reserve) which will become a right in/right out intersection. This feature reduces the potential for collisions as a right in/right out eliminates left turns in front of oncoming traffic.

Timeline: October 2023 – Fall 2024
Project status: Construction
Funding: $11 million

What to expect: WSDOT will keep all lanes open during the majority of the project. Travelers can expect short-term traffic stops during key stages of the project.

Learn more about the project on the WSDOT website here.
