Welcome Wednesdays & Accessibility at Bloedel

  • Monthly pay-what-you-wish admission days
  • Up to 750 visitors per Welcome Wednesday
  • Support of these flagship community days is also support for a wide array of accessibility initiatives at Bloedel:
    • $1 entry for SNAP benefits recipients
    • Entry at no charge for Suquamish Tribal members
    • Well-Being programs at no cost to participants
    • Events designed specifically for guests with disabilities

Seasonal Events

  • Earth Day
    • A vibrant showcase of nature and community, Earth Day welcomes all ages with lawn games, food and beverage vendors, family fun, citizen science, and earth-centric activities.
    • 750+ attendees
  • October Squash Hunt
    • A bountiful month of family fun and squash galore. Themed nature activities and autumnal displays throughout the grounds draw visitors from across Kitsap and beyond.
    • ~6,000 visitors
  • Winter Solstice Walks – Sponsored by Puget Sound Energy
    • A beloved December tradition welcomes guests on a magical guided walk through the Reserve at night.
    • Themed evenings prioritize meditative silence, families and children, and a new offering launched in 2024 welcomes those of all abilities to “Stroll & Roll” at Bloedel.
    • 800+ visitors

The Garden Party

  • Over 340 philanthropists renowned for their support of conservation, well-being, the arts, and the environment
  • Over 20 outstanding local food and drink vendors
  • A lively and spectacular auction
