Where to Find Us

Bloedel Reserve is situated at the north end of Bainbridge Island, at 7571 NE Dolphin Drive, about 6 miles from the Winslow ferry terminal, just off State Route 305. Bainbridge Island is reachable by ferry from Colman Dock in downtown Seattle and by car from Kitsap Peninsula by crossing the Agate Pass Bridge, located just south of Poulsbo.

Parking

Bloedel Reserve is located in a semi-rural residential area. Parking at the Reserve in our guest parking lots is free. Please be aware that there is no street or off-site parking available.

Transportation Options

Bike to Bloedel Reserve–a perfect warm-up for your walk through the gardens! Download the Visit Kitsap Cycling Map to plan your trip. Bike racks are available onsite next to the Gatehouse.

Ferry service between downtown Seattle and Bainbridge Island can slow down on the weekends. For the most recent updates and changes to sailing schedules, please click here.

Bainbridge Island is a 35-minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Ferries accommodate both cars and walk-on passengers and sail from Colman Dock approximately every 50-60 minutes.

Bloedel Reserve can also be accessed from the north by the Edmonds/Kingston ferry line.

Kitsap Transit bus service is available to and from Bloedel Reserve through BI Ride and the #94 Agate Point bus. BI Ride operates scheduled trips between Downtown Winslow, Coppertop Park, Bloedel Reserve and the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal, in addition to offering trips on demand through the Ride Pingo app or by phone. On Sundays, BI Ride is only available on-demand from 8 AM to 4 PM. Monday through Friday, fixed-route service (#94 Agate Point) is available during different times of day.
