Bloedel Reserve Pollinator Seed Mixes

Curated for your garden & On Sale at the Shop at the Gatehouse

After careful research and exploration, we’ve developed two native wildflower seed packets for your backyard–Annuals & Perennials. The selected species in our Pollinator Plant Seed mixes are the most prominent in the Buxton Pollinator Meadow. These ‘collections’ can be used in planters or small sunny spots in your yard or garden to attract pollinators and other beneficial insects. Visit the Shop at the Gatehouse to purchase in-person.

Planting information

  1. Select a sunny spot in your garden or yard
  2. Remove all vegetation from the site before sowing your seeds
  3. Seedlings should not be allowed to dry out

More on our source…

Most of the flowering Pacific Northwest natives growing in our meadow came from seed produced by Heritage Seedlings and Liners, Inc. of Salem, OR. They are a regional provider of source-verified native seed that prioritizes seed production for restoration and conservation efforts. Seed to grow production plants is sourced from wide-ranging wild populations, and produced seed is tested by an independent laboratory for purity and viability, ensuring that crops of each species are genetically diverse AND of exceptional quality. Over the last three years, we’ve sown over 75 pounds of native seed from Heritage in our Pollinator Meadow.
