Garden Uses:  Specimen fruit tree

 Fun Fact:  This cherry plum in the Japanese Garden will demand your attention, as it is one of the first blooming trees to remind us that spring is almost here. It will be be covered in white, fragrant flowers just before its leaves emerge.  “Cerasifera” is from the Latin words cerasus, meaning cherry tree, and ferre, meaning to bear.
