Listen to the Landscape with Perri Howard

There is a profound, restorative power in choosing to pause and receive the world through our ears—an intentional practice where sound becomes the quiet architect of how we experience space. Join Creative Resident Perri Howard as she shares visual works and site-specific field recordings gathered from the resonant landscapes of Bloedel Reserve. Following the talk, she will lead a silent sound walk, a shared quiet adventure in listening designed to deepen presence and attune the senses to the subtle ecosystem dialogues happening around us.

Perri also has a solo exhibition at Art X Contemporary, 512 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98104 through July 25th where all are welcome to visit and immerse themselves in visual works entirely driven by deep listening experiences. Open Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11am-5:30pm.
