Earth Day Celebration

Bainbridge Island Metro Parks in partnership with the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation is hosting a celebration of spring at Rotary Park, Bainbridge Island, on April 24th, from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Come join the fun with dozens of nature-focused activities for kids of all ages! View “life up close” with Bloedel Reserve Moss Garden Manager Darren Strenge. Plant wildflowers, learn to identify and pull invasive weeds, visit with over a dozen local organizations including Bloedel Reserve, Kitsap Master Gardeners, Sustainable Bainbridge, the Bainbridge Island Land Trust, the Kitsap Audubon Society and so many more.

There will be local food vendors on hand to fuel up those hungry weed warriors, plus live music, and a real-live owl to meet.

Admission is free and parking is available on site and at nearby locations. Better yet, ride a bike and get a free sticker!
