Celebrate, honor, or remember loved ones at Bloedel Reserve with a tribute gift!
All tribute gifts include notification to honorees of your choice, and a custom page in the Reserve’s bespoke Tribute Book—available online and in print at the Reserve. Additional recognition benefits are detailed below.
Sow a Seed
Your gift of $500+ helps to plant new bulbs and seeds at Bloedel ReserveSow a Seed
Sow a seed in Bloedel Reserve’s living collection as your love, memory, or hope takes root. A donation of $500+ enables you to support the annual bulb planting.
Bestow a Season
Your gift of $2,500+ bestows the garden area of your choice as tribute for three months.Bestow a Season
Bestow a season of springtime blooms in the Rhododendron Glen, or golden autumn mornings by the willow. To honor your loved one, celebrate a milestone, or heal a loss, set aside a landscape of your choice at Bloedel Reserve for one full season.
Season gifts are recognized with:
• Custom signage in your preferred garden area for 3 months.
• Complimentary admission during the season for up to 8 guests per visit.
• At season’s end, the sign will be yours to keep.
Devote a Year
Your gift of $5,000+ devotes the garden area of your choice as tribute for an entire year.Devote a Year
Devote a year of Bloedel Reserve as living tribute to what means most. Let nature move with you through life’s changes. From first sprouts to last leaf-fall, give a gift that grows.
Year-long gifts are recognized with:
• Custom signage in your preferred garden area for 12 months.
• Complimentary admission during the year for up to 8 guests per visit.
• At year’s end, the sign will be yours to keep.
Dedicate a Bench
Your gift of $10,000+ dedicates a bench at Bloedel Reserve as tribute.Dedicate a Bench
Dedicate a bench amid the healing wonder of nature, and honor that which endures. Make a place to sit with memories or loved ones, to recollect the past, enjoy the present, and hope for the future.
Bench dedications are recognized with:
• Bench placement at a mutually agreed location.
• A private placement celebration when the bench is installed.
• Bench maintenance and primary hardscape included with your gift, with dedication to last the lifetime of the bench (~10 years).
• Bench affiliation recognized digitally and in print, in Bloedel’s Tribute Book.
All tribute pages and signage have specific word counts and design elements to ensure your tribute harmonizes with the aesthetic of Bloedel Reserve and enhances future visitors’ experience. Donors will work directly with the Development Team in the process of tribute gift fulfillment.
