Project Description

Buxton Bird Marsh & Pollinator Meadow

This naturalized area is a tranquil spot for nesting birds, migratory and resident ducks and geese, and an abundance of dragonflies.

The Buxton Bird Marsh and Meadow has recently undergone an exciting transformation, doubling its size from 5 to 10 acres and creating ecologically-focused experiences for all ages to enjoy. The changes include a new boardwalk, plus improved trails, viewpoints and seating have been installed. And more than 50 varieties of native wildflowers and 50,000 bulbs have been planted in the meadow. Read more about the Buxton Marsh & Meadow transformation here.
