Fun Fact:
What an amazing smell to come across on a winter stroll at Bloedel Reserve. This Daphne is native to the Himalayan Mountains in Nepal and is found as far south as the Sichuan province in Southwest China. In Nepal, it is used to make traditional paper and the fibrous inner bark is also made into rope. This wonderful plant is a staff favorite and is blooming a month early due to the warm temperatures.
