Wander the trails in silence with a guided tour as the sun sets. These guided walks offer a peaceful way to experience the solstice lights in stillness and reflection. Participants are asked to remain quiet for the full 90 minute, 1.5 mile trail walk to fully appreciate the sounds and serenity of nature.

Arrive early to enjoy a cozy fire pit, sip on a warm beverage, and savor festive snacks before your walk. It’s also a great time for some last-minute holiday shopping in our Gift Shop. Please read the Know Before You Go information below before booking.

Don’t forget to pick up your Solstice keepsake at the end of your walk!

Know Before You Go:

• Meet at the Gatehouse Arrival Garden Plaza.
• Lanterns are provided for your walk.
• Please stay with your group and stick to the trails.
• Silent Walks are roughly 1.5 miles and last approximately 90 minutes. This walk will contain staircases.
• Restrooms are available at the Gatehouse prior and following the walk; the Residence will be closed.

Non-Refundable Tickets
Please note that Solstice Walk tickets are non-refundable. In the event Bloedel Reserve must cancel due to inclement weather, we will offer two alternate dates: December 27 and 28. If you cannot attend on those dates, please consider your ticket a donation supporting the Reserve.

Visiting Bloedel Reserve is an outdoor experience. Please dress for the weather. Bloedel Reserve is open rain or shine. In the event of closure due to inclement weather, ticket holders will be contacted on the day of the event via email and the website will reflect the most up-to-date cancellation information.
