Horticulture & Design

There’s no place on earth like Bloedel Reserve — a community jewel, a horticultural wonderland, a beloved public treasure. In order to fulfill our mission, we have identified four key principles that define, shape and inform the programs we create and the projects we initiate and support, both on the grounds and in the community

Horticulture & Design encompasses the work the Grounds and Horticulture team does to maintain the property, as well the projects and programs we offer to deepen our understanding of the Reserve’s plants and trees, ecology, landscape design, and aesthetics.
