The Super Squash Scavenger Hunt is a month-long October tradition at Bloedel Reserve. We hide hundreds of squash and pumpkins around the grounds for our guests to find and identify. In order to be ready for fall, we start cultivating the pumpkins and squash now.
And using recycled materials, we build a special patch and cover structure to protect the giant pumpkins as they grow. Watch how it’s done.
