Accessibility

We invite everyone to explore our trails and gardens and experience the transformative power of nature. No matter the season (or the weather), there’s always something new just around the corner.

Limited Mobility

Guests with limited mobility can access the highlights of the Reserve via a paved road. This route is approximately 2/3 of a mile round-trip. The road has a short hill with a 9% grade. Guests travel a downward incline at the beginning towards the Residence and walk up an incline on the return trip. Complimentary wheelchairs are available at the Gatehouse. We can also provide a ride on our wheelchair accessible golf cart from the Residence back up to the parking lot.

Suquamish Tribal Member Free Access

We offer Suquamish Tribal members free access to the Reserve during public hours. No reservations or tickets are required to visit. Tribal members simply present their tribal membership card to Guest Services upon arrival at the Reserve.

Welcome Wednesdays

Join us on the first Wednesday of each month for a pay-what-you-wish community day at Bloedel Reserve.

  • Timed Tickets should be reserved in advance of your visit to avoid entry delays on busy days.
  • Donations of any amount may be added to your ticket reservation to help support the mission and operations of Bloedel Reserve.

Welcome Wednesdays are made possible by grants and donations. Thank you to the below 2025 Sponsors!

Museums for All

We joined Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

The program supports those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits visiting Bloedel Reserve for a minimal fee of $1 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.

No. Visitors do not need to register for anything on this website. You can just come the day of your visit, show your SNAP EBT card and a photo ID, and you will receive the Museums for All admission rate of $1 each for up to 4 people. You can come back as many times as you wish—there’s no limit.

No, your SNAP EBT card is only for identification purposes. Any admission costs must be paid for with alternate methods (cash, credit cards, etc.).

Museums for All is made possible by grants and donations.
