DESCRIPTION:Pulling Prints from Nature with Catherine Michaelis\nA Drop-In Experiential Event\nSunday\, August 29\, 12 noon to 3 PM\nAt the Sheep Sheds \nStop by the Bloedel Reserve Sheep Sheds Sunday\, August 29\, between noon and 3 PM and pull your own print from a tree round! \nCreative Resident Catherine Michaelis has prepared multiple tree round surfaces for printmaking. This printmaking technique is one she developed while in residency at the Reserve this past spring. \nPrinting with rounds has greatly influenced her new work\, which will be featured in a fall show at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA). Catherine has generously offered to share her process with visitors. Try something new and take home a one-of-a-kind memento of your visit to the Reserve. \nThis event is free with admission to Bloedel Reserve.\nTimed Tickets are required for entry.
