Secret Season Plant Walks March 16 & 18
There is so much extraordinary plant life to appreciate in late Winter/Early spring. Enjoy locating and identifying the late Winter and early Spring-bloomers like the whimsical Corkscrew hazel (Corylus avellana ‘Contorta’), Trillium, the unfurling Fiddlehead ferns and more! Ask questions, expand your horticulture knowledge and revel in the wonder of this under-appreciated but beautiful time of year.
The walk will last approximately two to two and a half hours and take place rain or shine.
WHEN: Thurs. March 16 at 10am; Sat. March 18th at 1pm
WHERE: Bloedel Grounds – Meet at Gatehouse
COST: $7 Members, $22 Non-Members
